Annie (whose nickname is Spikey) & Phill created Spikey’s Retreat in late 2020 and transformed it into a super comfy accommodation for ADULTS ONLY guests wishing to enjoy the warmth & relaxed lifestyle that the Gold Coast, Queensland, is renowned for. The apartment is located on Chevron Island, which is surrounded by the Nerang River and only a short stroll to the golden sands & surf of Surfers Paradise.
Spikey’s Retreat is a super comfy two-story penthouse apartment comprising of two ensuite bedrooms, one on each level. Our unit is just perfect for holidaymakers travelling with family or friends who prefer their own separate spaces.
Main Bedroom (with Ensuite)
The main bedroom features a comfortable king bed, with nightstands and plenty of wardrobe space.
Second Bedroom (with Ensuite)
This room can be configured with either a King bed or two single beds. Making it perfect for a couple or family.

The apartment is in a great location just far enough away from the Surfers night life but yet close enough to walk to all the action and beaches.
